  • Guest messaging data — inquiry and reply content processed by our AI, solely to generate responses on your behalf.
  • Listing information — details you provide about your short-term rental properties.

2. How we use it

  • To provide, maintain, and improve HostIQ's services.
  • To generate AI-powered replies tailored to your listings and guest inquiries.
  • To send you product updates, early access invitations, and occasional marketing (you can opt out anytime).
  • To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve our AI models.

3. How we protect it

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard infrastructure providers with SOC 2 compliance. We never sell your personal data to third parties. Access to user data is restricted to authorized team members on a need-to-know basis.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate HostIQ:

  • Vercel — hosting and deployment.
  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • OpenAI / Anthropic — AI reply generation (guest messages are processed but never used to train third-party models).

Each provider operates under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

5. Your rights

You can request to:

  • Access or export all personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
